The Process?

what happens next?, depends. I got my cdl from community college, got hired to a company near me, week out with trainer, my own truck and started working. it was hard, stressful and an adventure rolled into one. I had a friend who hired on with millis, he went to their school where he got his permit, then out with a trainer for 4 to 6 weeks, then his driving test, got a truck and started working. so much depends on what company you school with and drive for. my first full year driving I made about $55,000. same for him. I make more now, but with time comes more $.

 

I wore a chain wallet. And a big knife next to that. For decades. No one bothered me. Much.

Hell I still do. And you wonder sometimes the looks I get. Im just too old to care.

 

Lol anyone that's concerned about the wallet I wear or frankly anything I wear can pretty much lick it. Long as I don't stink it ain't nunya bidness

 

Those daggone stinky truck drivers with their wallet chains beards & giant coffee's.

Situational awareness will be your best friend. Lots of transient low life's seem to congregate at certain truck stops. It can be hard to tell them apart from a hard working trucker haha. Just don't assume the guy approaching you asking a question is a trucker.

 

Get you a tight all leather outfit another ginger female team driver and lotsa hairspray.

Matter of fact think I stopped and stared with my purple colored lemonade & clothes in my wal-mart plastic bag.

Mmmmmm.....

Those chicks were hot man.
