Runaway truck ramp video.

I saw a CR England on its roof on the left side of the runaway ramp on wb I-70 bottom of Vail. He made it about one truck length up and rolled it. Now that takes talent!

 

It took a few moments. How long is that moment? Rest of your life.

He did a good job keeping from flipping. Im concerned about how he just threw it into the chute

 

That sure looks like it's one of the two ramps on the north bound side of the Grapevine. Coming north it's a 35 mph speed limit. You always see guys using brakes rather than the gears.

 

Good job to this driver!

Sad part?.............

It will most likely become an "Issue" ... (Just like anything else in today's society)

Instead of 'quietly' getting a wrecker out there to pull him out, Adjust his brakes,And be on his way......

This Driver now has to Deal with the Barrage of Law enforcement Showing up, The Endless "Dumb" questions the Poor driver will be asked repeatedly sitting there in his soiled pants....,,The Citation issued,, The State sponsored wrecker service to pull him out, His Company Correcting him like a misbehaving child.... And every Motorist with their "I got a camera,Time to play media"... mindset.

So Instead of thanking this guy For saving Lives.......His Confidence will just be shattered for doing the right thing.

Maybe it was this guy making another video and he was going to use the runaway ramp to get around the slow vehicles in the left lane
