Little Rock AR CB Shops?

yeah and they list on their board that a galaxy vhp does 350 plus watts. it has 8 irf 520 mosfets in it good for 25-28 apiece and thats it. turn it up and you will burn it up.... 28 times 8 is 224 watts thats a long ways away from 350 watts.

 

I wouldn't let anyone in W Memphis open up my radio!

 

The guy at Lonoke has had that shop for about 25 years (I forget which exit it is but it is where hwy 31 comes into I-40) they tell me and is supposed to be good. I don't think he has any set hours though. It is a part time thing with him from what I've been told. He might be worth a look if you can catch him there.

Ray in W. Memphis has been there for years and is well known for his quality of work. Before he was at his present location, across from McDonald's, he was at Everybody's Electronics in Southhaven, MS. Those old freighthaulers you used to hear for miles across I-40 had radios set up by Ray. Now the Channel 5 CB shop in W. Memphis is a whole nother story.

 

I know Ray bought my 7" skipshooters there years ago, ch 5 is a BIG no no to me have seen so many guy's being ripped off by these peoples!!!

Still Ray has never achieve what i do have now for that alone i will not use him.

 

I'll third or 4th recommend Ray. Honest guy, not the best but unless you want to deal with really odd characters under really odd circumstances, Ray will do.
