Anything good or bad on this company? I just sent them my 100 dollars, so am starting there training on Sept. 15. Any info would be good. Also what do I need to bring to school?

Ok, I'll wait for the letter. How about training? What can I expect? And how about the hotel? By the way, I'm going to the Georgia school.
-
when you go to school the first couple of days will be in class room watching movies then they will take you out and let you drive around the yard bobtail for a day or 2 to get use to shifting. then you will practice your backing for a few days then by the end of the second week they usually try to take you out at least once driving on the interstate. if you go to cartersville you will have greg for a instructer he is a good guy and will teach you what you need to know. the hotel you stay in is ok it is clean but you will more than likely share a room with somebody.
srick773 Thanks this. -
Spanky, thanks for the info. What kind of equipment do they use? Ive heard it's mostly KW's.

over the road trucks are mostly 05 to 09 kw t2000s and some 08 freightliner cascadias. the dedicated and some geargia regional trucks are frieghtliner columbia. the kw all have cats in them and the cascadia have the detroit in them. the columbia have both mercedes and some cats.

WVa They deliver there so I assume they might hire from there not to sure give them a call. -
I am signed up for the Sept 22 training in Richfield WI. Talked with a driver today in Indianapolis. He had nothing but great things to say about the company. I have done extensive research on companies, and I am glad I chose Millis. Anyone else signed up for training in WI? Any info on trainers would be great, what to look for and such?
