Yeah I did think it was odd but I was very clear and upfront. I read enough at that point to put everything on app for fear of getting sent home on a technicality. And I half think I would have shipped out in March had it not been for name issue. His demeanor was different this time too. He remembered me but was all business and wanted to get off phone after I couldn't produce W-2's.
Definitely his end something changed.
Changed app back to unemployed stay at home dad with explainers for verifying.
All I can do. Everything else is clean
Thanks will do. Will try all
Like O&S and maybe Jim Palmer too. Same trainer pay and regimen.

Might just record an affidavit from them loldca Thanks this. -
Jim Palmer is a 48 state carrier.

ISH, they do 48's but depending on where you live, depending on which side the BIG river you are on. If you are West they try to keep you west, if you are EAST you actually will drive for Wil-Trans and stay East, you CAN REQUEST 48 but that doesn't happen to often, usually you originate and terminate in Springfield

Not much info on Carolina. Put apps in. Searching around think I stumbled onto a russian page.
They Russian nyet?
Like Jones Bros burly flatbedders
Just need to get to Albany, NY 1-2 days every 4-6 weeks -
They do have a English/Russian language selection to read the website.
Get that cdl with which ever company you can then if you have any problems getting to Albany, you at least can change companies later that runs that way more often, such as Calex Logistics.
Apply to all of them and take the best offer. -
Can also go to Missoula, Montana for school. They recruit in all states. Been running recruiting ads in Florida also.Last edited: Sep 7, 2016

Thanks for tips. I figure first year will be tough but experience will open doors for local regional gigs out there

Plenty of local work available. LTL companies usually pay well and it's just drop & hook.
-
Have a friend that was a stay at home dad for about the same amount time, what he did was wrote out a statement stating what he did for the unemployed years and 4 witnesses signed it. the company didnt require it to be notarized but was ready to do so if needed.
he was a cdl holder, if he did a odd job for pay he had to keep a log of all on duty hrs.Last edited: Sep 7, 2016
