Heck, since you've beaten the charge, you might look into having your lawyer send KLLM a cease and desist letter notifying them that the charges were unsubstantiated and you were adjudicated "not guilty" as a result and therefore continued reporting of the alleged (and proven to be false) DUI will result in legal actions taken against KLLM. Of course your lawyer can probably word that a little better, but at the very least it is a shot across their bow that you won't sit on your hands while they block your attempts to find employment.
Interesting dilemma...

One thing i've learned over the years is that if you're not wanted, it's best to just find somewhere else where you are wanted. I'm sure i could make them begrudgingly accept me if i followed that route... Yet I feel as if it would come back on me I.E. getting the worst dispatcher/loads/miles, constant jumping through hoops. I'd rather just find somebody else who will work with me. Currently attempting Navajo as we speak.

Try CTI. They are out of Amarillo. Just go down the the yard and talk to the terminal manager. They are not real strict on who the hire.

There are a couple of things that are not clear.
- Was the DUI charge in a CMV or personal vehicle.
- Did you plead to a lessor charge to have the DUI dropped?
Of course if neither were the case, I doubt you will have problems finding employment. -
I'm not saying you should sue them to get your job back, just that they need to stop reporting the DUI charge of which you were found to be not guilty to potential employers who contact them for employment verification.

Ohhh... Now that makes better sense. thats definitely something i'll look into.. once i have some money to feed my hungry lawyer again.. >.<

Since you're in Amarillo, you could try Plains Transportation, Kimrad, or Affiliated Foods.
jjoohhnn Thanks this. -
It was in CMV outside of Albuquerque NM. Cop found a beer in my fridge (yes I realize. dumb me). then did a field sobriety test on me, but no breathalyzer, and decided i was drunk(not sure of legalities of that?). Arrested me, but had the hospital draw blood. My lawyer got me off thanks to the blood work. The case was fully dismissed. No lesser charges or anything. The court dropped it before I could go to trial. How would i check my CSA without knowing my DOT #, or pin?

So he pulled you over?
For what?
And asked if he could search your truck?
I'd have to insist no with one chilling.
Your name must be Houdini
That was a great escape -
Was the beer in fridge open? Had u been drinking that day ? Inquiring minds would like to know ?
