Let's start off saying, my fiance is a nicer person than I am and can stand a lot more.

He started with werner enterprises on August 1, he started on his first trainers truck on August 4, he drove from the 4th up to the 23rd everyday except for missing a couple hours for two days and one day of sitting. Now, when they got back to the Dallas terminal on the 23rd, his trainer signed him off and yada yada, my fiance was prepared to test out...bam, you need 100 more hours, you only have 120 hours. Umm...120? Where do you get that and where are other 40 hours?! So, back otr, trainer decided to ram the trailer and pushed the fifth wheel lever up into the fifth wheel...he then decided to take the truck to Shreveport and drop my fiance off at some motel in Marshall. Now, after being there almost a week, I told my fiance to keep checking on the truck status, to call and request a new trainer as something was up, his trainer never checked in on the truck according to the shop, Dallas terminal had no idea about any of this and couldn't get ahold of Jerl. So, a week to the day they finally get him a new trainer (his stuff is still on the truck or has finally made it to Dallas?). His new trainer is an o/o based out of MN, sees my fiance can drive and do everything himself "Lol you need your own truck". Now, today (September 8,) my fiance finds out his old trainer put on his report that my fiance can't drive....explained the extra hours tacked on, explained why they're making him do 225 out of the 275...explained that this 300+lb smelly, lazy ####### has just pulled ####, because my fiance was just a paycheck to his fat ###.

MN terminal is currently rerouting my fiance and his trainer back to Dallas, Omaha terminal is in shackles with Dallas and with the experience my fiance already has and proof of hours shown by the MN (that Dallas just so happened to "misplace") his trainer can't believe he's even needing a trainer (I heard him over the phone today). This new trainer is obviously well respected by the MN terminal and his dispatcher who is in complete disbelief of all of this, someone in the Dallas terminal is buddies with his old trainer. It doesn't take much sense to add it all up. My fiance should've been done by last weekend or the weekend before, at the latest. There will be repercussions of the anguish my fiance has suffered, he will be reporting that his old trainer, Jerl was on his phone (had it in hand while driving), I had to hear my fiance over the phone telling his trainer Jerl to watch out because... He has his phone in his hand. My fiance said his old trainer, Jerl, would swerve all over. I can't wait to see him lose his cdl for being a piece of #### to society, his mother should've swallowed his fat ###.
Unlike other posts, this one is honest and full of what can be proven! I thought this was a good place for my fiance to get his start but, unfortunately there are screwbals who take advantage.

Well welcome to Werner, mega-training companies, and the world of trucking.

Werner, like the rest of the mega-crap trucking companies, makes it sound like you have a trucking job when you sign on with them. The fact is, it is less like a job and more like a lifestyle; lots of drama, little pay.

Why can't your fiance write his own post? Does he not have internet access? More likely, the impression is given that your man is wishy- washy and won't stick up for himself. This type of driver is exactly what companies like Werner thrive on. Sorry for the hardships, but stop running to your man's defense and make him accountable. He needs to tell Werner that he has been qualified by a trainer and either he gets a truck or walks.

Zooming in on the 2nd picture posted, if you look at the reflection in his glasses, it sure looks like he is driving on a highway as he's taking that ultra-cool selfie with the cigar. I'm pretty sure I can make out the zipper line. I could be wrong but that's what it looks like. Your fiance seems to be getting the run around and needs to directly speak to someone who can help him. Is it at all possible that he could be part of the problem though? I know the one trainer said he was good but maybe there is something you haven't heard about. You're not out there with him. Either way, best of luck.
