Lol. I wonder if the grand opening is next week for the brake check week. I don't see how they could ticket people for weight violations when you pull right out of the rail yard with no chance to go scale at the truckstops?

 

They don't give a flying ####, Northlake PD does the exact same thing, truck stop is 2 blocks away from UPG2 so they make sure to catch you inbetween

I'm thinking it's mostly for inbound loads.

 

Last year during brake check they did it at 47th and the Dan Ryan coming out of NS. But you can go around it by going up to Pershing and over to the Dan Ryan that way

 

Were there actual police? Every now and then stay streets and sans sets up scales on western. I just drive past them if there's no police.

 

On wells street. That's the street you turn south on from 47th to enter the ryan.
