I didn't even know that was possible. It isn't like it was beat up and rusted. It was a new trailer and the handle wasn't bent. Some guy dropped the trailer too low and he asked if I could crank it up for him. I used all my strength and bent the handle and it broke off. I looked at where it broke and it the metal was clean. When I become an owner op I will be sure to keep a spare trailer handle with me.
Wow I bent and broke off a landing gear handle

I learn enough to be careful and can tell when a handle is about to go so like a first date be gentle. Also i used a screw driver to lower the legs or raise it dont ask how... it takes a while on the lowest gear. The struggle of a o/o

Easy killer lol but it's happened to me before probably old and worn out.

You placed a screwdriver through the hole for the landing gear bolt you mean in order to turn it? If I was a really nice guy I could have removed the landing gear handle off my trailer temporarily but I had to go. It was the guys fault for lowering it by accident anyway he was new.
