dont ver rush

ok, so this is what you should not do when rushing to get home
first off, dont ever rush, rushing gets you no where.
2nd, when your fueling up, make sure you put the lid back on you tank before you pull out... and if tats not bad enought, make sure that before you go through a DOT inspection that you pull over and put the cap back on your tank..
today, 95s to 495, the lights are flashing, but no trucks are entering, they are all staying on 95s, anyway, i was going 495, and pulled in cause thats what the sign said.
i pull in, the green sign says keep moving, so i do, and was thrilled cause i didnt get an insp. not that i care really, but its thursday, and i wanna be home friday for the holiday weekend, so i exit, releaved that i was able to keep moving, i think it was like 15 mins later and i see flashing lights rearing up behind me, so i naturally move to the right so he can go by, cause i checked in at the dot insp. so i new it couldnt be me he was comming for... sure enough it was.... and he informed me that they noticed my cap not properly secured. and was escorted back to the dot station, where i went through 3 1/2 hours worth of insp in the puring rain...
morale of the story, dont rush, and make sure he abvious is kept looking the right way....

 

see the bad part is that i never ever rush, its always abad thing to do, specialy since iv only been driving for about 4 months now, i always take my time, GOAL all the time, think before i do, its just this week i was wanting to get home early, and was rushing things a bit more then usual, which turned out to be a stupid thing to do.... ill take as a lesson learned, after all every day out there is a leasson learned, ill take anything that is givin to me, and ill take it with pride, specialy if its somethign as dum as forgetting to put my fuel cap lid back on
mext weel will start, and again it will be a nother learning experiance, just with a lil more help of not forgetting to put my lid on duh!

i will not put my life, or any ones life at/in danger to rush to get anywhere, in the end its not worth it. i dont ever rush, and i wasnt really rushing that morning, its just that i wanted to get a move on earlier rather then later and simply forgot to do something, it could have been worse, ill always double look every time from now on,
duh!!!
