Well, I missed this one. Sorry.
Yeah, well. It's only been one quarter so far. I easily got it last time, this time it'll need some adjustments to get my score higher, but even without them, I'm still way past the target to get it.

Yes it is a salary position. Pay at this point really didn't matter as much as being able to show a judge I would be home every night with my son.

Had an awesome week, really enjoying this local stuff. Basically I do 90% live load/unload. I finish loads that have been relayed at the Dallas OC for local delivery or start loads for long delivery that I drop at either Dallas OC or Atomic Yard. Feels strange not to be stressing at a shipper worried about how long that loading is taking. Only thing that would make the job easier is to have a daycab instead of this KW. Sometimes the places I have to back into are very narrow. Hit my 90 day mark and got my health insurance cards in the mail.
AM14 Thanks this. -
They have you in a KW instead of a daycab? Not like they would want to make an OTR guy happy or anything
91B20H8, AM14, Waggledaddy and 1 other person Thank this. -
Well I was OTR for the first 83 days, just recently went to this local position. Hopefully soon they will get a daycab in.

Oh so you are in your original truck, I see. The advantage is that you can go in the back and lay down if they are taking forever to load or unload you, lolWaggledaddy Thanks this.

That's what I was thinking. I wouldn't want a daycab..... lolAM14 and milehunter43 Thank this.

But if you have a sleeper SNI might not care if your stuck out somewhere instead of getting you home. Just sleep in the back driver, I'd request a day cab.
Friday, 91B20H8, milehunter43 and 3 others Thank this. -
Last winter when I got towed into Carlisle 11 hours after breaking down, my request to go to the Sleep Inn was denied. I was told to relax in the TV room or ask the mechanic if I could sleep in the bunk before the pushed my truck in so I could finish my run once the work was finished. Safety first and always folks. Get a day cab asap.Friday, Waggledaddy and 91B20H8 Thank this.
