Ones that don't need to go to the shop too often are my favorite usually

Oh dear god, we've gone and ran him off.

This is what happens when you ask a bunch of truck drivers a question late on a Saturday... We're bored!

Hm. Best? Depends on what you mean. Do you mean the most fuel efficient? The prettiest? The most reliable? Best truck to buy for a fleet? How big is the fleet? How experienced the driver? What's the application... Are you going to be running this truck coast to coast or pulling 20% unpaved grades with 130k? Is it a daycab or a sleeper and does quality of sleeper affect the judgement of best?

All that said, this 2015 cascadia with a dd15 and the 12 speed auto shift hasn't broken on me yet no matter what I've thrown at it. It's not the prettiest or the most desirable, but it's hard to compete with a 9+ mpg fuel efficiency over the last 50k miles.

    Steel Tiger Thanks this.

I'm still here. I guess I was wondering what's the best for new drivers.

Ah. Well... It's really not a huge difference. My company crapcadia has really grown on me. Would I like a fully outfitted 780 to drag these boxes around? Sure.

I do see a lot of Kenworth T680's with APU's hauling reefer. From what I've seen, those companies tend to pay a bit less for brand new drivers. But that depends as well. That is a pretty comfy truck when it's fully loaded.

Anyway. I'm sure someone with a lot more expertise in this will chime in
