I did some of those loads when the company took a few the regular carriers couldn't handle. It's not worth it. Most of the people you deal with at those places, Dollar General, K-Mart, etc. are a bunch of slugs making minimum wage and think they have power over you. Then once you leave the store, they are back to their miserable lives.

 

they do not have the rates for commercial vehicles on the website for the ferry up there but the email address to find the info is dot.amhs.commercial@alaska.gov

 

For the most part, on family dollar, I have not encountered this problem minus 1 store.
Not to say it doesn't happen.
Average about 50 hers work a week then home.
