You will only delay YOUR training.
    What's important?
    Quick, easy, or good.

Pick two of three and you have your answer.

I agree it's not to much to ask at all. But in the OP position training would be then be easy and good.

Right now he has quick and good.

    Nope !
Not going to live in those conditions for job training, that's ########.

Didn't step on any toes/ hurt any feelings, just told my driver manager that "the dog hair was giving me respitory issues" and requested another trainer, of course I told my current trainer the same thing before talking to our DM

    Concorde and DRAGON64 Thank this.

Excellent out, and bravo on you! The trainer should be setting a better example.

At least you told your trainer before telling the company. Good to tell him its the dog, not him. I couldnt sleep with doghair in my nose and throat. I love dogs, but its stressful enough being in close quarters with a strange dude 24/7.

Hopefully you won't end up being "trained" by somebody who just got their CDL 90 days ago...

...as unbelievable as that sounds, at some companies it is a very REAL possibility. Some companies will even wave the 90 days if you sign up for their L/P...

...which is why my gut instinct would have been to tough it out if you were lucky enough to have an experienced and knowledgeable trainer. Of course not all companies are like that, though, so maybe you'll be OK.

    Good for you, congrats!
No way in hell I'd have gotten in that truck, job or no job. Also I wouldn't have been as tactful as you. Me, I probably would have just laughed at the guy and said thanks but it's not happening today.
