Yes, he did mention having tablet problems. He also said he was going to get another one, but maybe he found out how much (little) he was going to be making, and decided he couldn't afford it.
I have a feeling we will be hearing from him again, though. Don't know why exactly, I just think we will.

Well I'll leave out with a coach Thursday everything is rolling along. I'll try and update here and there to keep this thread going. I hope broke down is doing ok I'd like to hear how his solo experience is going. Some of these guys in my class are a joke jeans hanging off there ### so low they can't even walk just scum why would u want someone like that driving. Anyway I'll do my little time then hopefully move on to a good company with decent folks..I pray for a decent coach that will show me the ropes the right way but who's knows who it will be fingers crossed..

God, to many responses to catch up with all at once but to keep everyone up to date, I'm getting about 2400 miles per week and would be doing better but my old ragged out beast just keeps breaking down on me. 545k on her and it shows.
So far I still have no complaints with anything other than my truck, a not insignificant one to be sure, but It'll be pulled out of service before long and maybe I'll get a better one then. The company is run a little like a lunatic asylum at times, it does't have a clear chain of command but more like a tree...with many branches. Getting through to the right person, especially on the weekends, can be a real trial but the people work hard and try and that's all you can ask.
As I type this, I'm at a hotel in Fontana, California hoping that Kenworth can resolve a couple of recurrent problems with my truck. It gets kind of annoying to have 3000 miles on the board but to end up with a full days less driving because I can run harder than the equipment.
Some notes from the road...
Signs reading "Beware of rattlesnakes" are never seen in NC but are in every rest stop in West Texas, New Mexico, which has some of the most beautiful scenery in the country and Arizona, which doesn't.
The Banning scale house is like a rectal exam preformed by a doctor with very large fingers
I'm more nervous in truck stops than anywhere else.
The vast majority of people with drivers licenses should have them immediately suspended.
Wal-Mart should be nuked.
I'll never eat another Tyson product as long as I live.
Swift has a company policy requiring stupidity and incompetence.
And lastly...
In the Old West Dodge City, Kansas was a cowtown and the only thing that's changed between then and now is the way the cows are brought to town.
I still haven't got a new tablet but I will soon.
