Does Bruce Oakley charge trailer rent?
-
-
I have been here since the end of March and really like it here at Oakley. I have no intentions of leaving anytime soon. If anyone wants a good company to lease on with this is it.
-
I am really considering going with Bruce Oakley in October. I am running flatbed now and in order for me to average $1.50 loaded I have to pull $2 a mile. (Current company gets 25% off the top)
It's not extremely difficult to average $2 a mile if I follow the money but the minute I decide i want to see the kids and wife I take it in the shorts.
Add in $200 a week trailer rent I pay now and Oakley makes more and more sense.
I have done end dump before and see Oakley up and down I37 in Texas. Really hate the idea of doing another orientation but 10,000 paid miles and $15k a month plus some deadhead $ without having to chase the money ending up in crappy areas.
Am I missing something? -
I agree with brian been here since late February with zero plans to leave.

Also. Oakley gives .05 a mile (bonus miles)from all loaded miles at your anniversary date. That goes up .01 a mile (bonus mile) for your loaded miles with no cap. You also get a raise of .01 a mile raise every year for your regular miles.

$0.01 a year raise on loaded miles, not empty. Not saying you're wrong in what you said, just clarifying so no one thinks they'll get a raise on loaded and empty miles. Only raises and bonuses on loaded miles. Empty will stay $1.07 .
Brian Gilbert Thanks this. -
Yes sir your correct. Sorry about saying it incorrectly. Thanks for clearing that up. Also, the empty is $1.07 plus surcharge. And the .01 per mile raise is for loaded and bonus miles.
