There is a new lease pay contract, it pays .94 no longer .90. You have to log in online at the driver portal in the documents and choose from 3 pay choices. Another pay is by weight. I messaged you to explain it in detail. I have been on the percentage for a couple of months and so far I get better miles and pay. I like the option to choose my own loads. My dispatchers are good at giving me loads but going where I choose is better IMO

Roknric Thanks this. -
Funny how that works...

Instead of making sure that everyone gets good miles/pay, they play a game like that. Mileage guys probably get low mileage loads and percentage guys get the high mileage ones. Not much different than a company that gives the new driver 3000 miles a week and starves out the experienced guy at the top of the pay scale. -
No, You can choose high or low mileage loads. I have taken a 20 mile load.Paul Bunyan Thanks this.

Paul did see how to find the loads around you?
-
Ah, I stand corrected then. I thought they were playing one of the many games that a lot of carriers play.
-
Celadon has 3 pay choices, set base mileage, percentage, and another if your loads are over 40,000 mileage band/ weight incentive.
-
Once you've chosen a plan are you locked in for the duration of your lease or can you change periodically?
-
Yes for a year. The percentage plan does quarantee $1 a mile. Line haul only not the dead head.Pegasus50 Thanks this.
