Landstar won't issue Lumper comcheck?

    Anyone else ever run into Landstar refusing to issue a comcheck or tcheck for a lumper? They're telling me they can only send a revised rate confirmation -- the lumper doesn't take check or credit card, there's no atm, and I don't have the cash on me. I'm not set up with comcheck either.

    I've never had this problem before, but they are being insistent that they only issue comchecks to bco's

    If you have money on your landstar savings card you can issue yourself a Comcheck from there. That's the only way you can get it from them.

    I never spoke with landstar about lumper fees. I did however make arrangements with the broker. Ended up getting reimbursed.

    Yeah DY I couldn't believe it either but it's the truth. I forget, do you have the NASTC Fleet One card? If you put your ducks in a row with them you can cut yourself a Fleet One check against your fuel credit.
