    In my neighborhood I know OH does. Can you get a good rate on the beer load? I have never done them cause they always offer cheap rate and 45k on the weight

    Rate is not special, but the load will keep the truck utilized over the weekend...

    New Jersey requires a permit for alcohol also.

    Dunno, broker assured me no permits were necessary for this run (IL to MT) and so far none of the states have been listed...

    I believe you only need the permit for either the state you're picking up in or delivering in ... maybe both. Been awhile since I pulled booze. Also I think the national hazmat permit suffices as the alcohol permit in states that don't have a specific requirement.

    What, you don't trust the broker to be truthful? Almost as if you think he is just trying to get the load off his board with no concern about how legal it. Please say it ain't so!! :)

    MD also but you have to buy that day of because it's only valid for 24 hours or some such nonsense.
