    Hmmm ...
Not following proper procedure can get you little pay checks
If you dare work for Celadon
.... This problem seems to be very convenient to Celadon , so it's plain to see what the OP 's problem is.... She had to chase Celadon down to get her money back....
DRIVERS : these are hard cold facts about Celadon , if you choose to take a chance on these people Atleast. make sure you know how to get your hard earned money back out of their system or you too will be like this woman

Drivers who care mot to make a go with a company and put a little effort in to be professional are so often on these boards moaning and groaning about their experience; but talk to drivers who Arent "moaning and groaning" that are actually having avpositive experienve and not undetstanding why a drivet isnt: and you bash them.. Shes not telling the whole story... Celadon does not steal or cheat on paychecks! The fuel rebate issue is another story; and i didnt agree with what was done; but im still pretty sure they upheld the lease operators contracts and they will probably win the case in courts.. But thats a whole other matter than what this driver is talking about. I am a company driver and have NEVER been cheated on my pay: ever..in years driving with them.. Thats my 2 cents worth

Don't listen to the haters, it happened to me also when I drove for star transport out of il. I bought a truck and went to Landstar, beat decision I ever made. You should consider the same. I been hear basically three years and love it. I bought my first rig for about 8000 bucks, 98 freight shaker. Never had a problem out of it, bought a newer truck with he money I made off running the first one. You can work you way up into really nice truck that way. But don't start with a payment. Save your money pay cash for a decent truck.

Funny thread.... Note to self: Be thankful I get cash reimbursements for tolls and scales. No lumper fee for drop and hooks terminal to terminal.
