    Great thread. Thanks for taking the time and making the effort for newbies to learn from others.
    Was there no physical done at orientation?
    No carrying 50 lbs. 50 feet and then back?
    Walk up & down some stairs 10 times.
    Pedal a stationary bike for 20 minutes?
    All your pay was direct deposit during orientation?

    Most companies just require a pulse but they do force the hand on sleep apnea.

    Yeah no problem there for me.
    In reasonable shape, so No sleep apnea for me.
    Renewed my DOT Med card in August, good for 2 years.
    Just wondering the specifics.

    I'm on a one year card for diabeties. I'm in awesome shape I have just seen and heard the stories of the sleep apnea nightmares.

    Got back to Olathe about 9pm last night. collapsed into bed and getting ready to shower and go get back in the recovered truck for a NC/SC run. Might even get to see my kids for a short visit on this lap. I hope so, it' be nice to catch a hug or two and catch up with them.

    Maybe I can stay gone for a bit this time.

    Things change quickly around here and yesterday I had to make one hell of a choice. Keep the recovered truck for a few days and go back for the Purple Turd after a NC/SC run that would get me home for a few hours, or wait until today and get a different truck.

    The PT is now someone else's problem. I'm done with that POS. Got a truck a year newer with 150k less on it and everything works on it...don't know how to act.

    Problem is freight is moving very slow from the yard today and I'm way down the list for a load. If this is the price I have to pay, so be it. Give up a little to hopefully gain a lot later.
