I'm having trouble deciding between Koch and Big G express. Could go to either one but picking a company is like buying a pig in a poke, no way to know for sure from the outside. I read the forums already. They both seem decent but I might as well flip a coin. Any advice? Thanks.
Koch or Big G, which would you choose?

Big G is a great otr company. Both my wife and I worked there for several years. If you live in TN they will get you home every single weekend, unless you choose to stay out longer. I highly recommend them.
Ask if you have any specific questions. Also, @tow614 is still there now and seems to be very happy too.tow614 Thanks this. -
I know this is a bit of a bump but are you still working for them? I'm considering applying as I need something that gets me home on weekends, and seems like they're pretty respected on here. I live off the 81 corridor in TN, they're got a terminal in Morristown not far from me. Thanks

I do not still work for them. I'm actually no longer working in the trucking industry. They are a great company though. If I ever decided to go back to otr driving they would be my first choice. Since you live near 81, you'd have no problem getting home every single weekend and likely get by there a couple of times during the week too. I just hope you like going to NJ.racemaxx24 Thanks this.

Mind if I PM you with some questions?

Sure I'll be happy to answer anything I can

I've been working at Big G a year and the old timers tell me that the company was once great but has gone downhill. The people who started the company have left. I would say above average but definitely not great. Lots of mistakes and confusion in dispatch. Actually, PTL's dispatch was better. But they pay well, the equipment is good and they are ethical.
