A myth about Alleydocking believed by many truckers: Setting up to left is always best

When nobody's looking, I like to challenge myself. Pull up parallel to the building and jackknife back it in, or pull up to some weird 57° angle and try to wrangle it in. I find it's best to have a whole slew of approaches for when the time comes.

 

Been there once or twice... yea, it kinda sucks, moreso when your nose is in the middle of the street.

This week, I had to do the “Left” set up, except with out enough room, Starting out with the Cab turned to the left around the corner, and jacking it around. Don’t know what that manuever’s called. Maybe the Left side jack around, on second thought, that doesn’t sound right
