I am around 80 bucks for ifta. I just fuel wherever. I gave up along time ago.. Lol

 

No he's not good, @duddie is right. Your ifta is figured from your fuel mileage for all miles ran from each quarter.

It is not by the mile as Dave said, it's by the gallon. Fuel mileage has EVERYTHING to do with it.

I was just looking forward to his response lol.

 

You guys it's easy to figure out. I plan my route and then figure the true cost of fuel in each state. I love it when it works out cheaper to fuel in a high tax state to build credit to help against states like Oregon, Indiana, Kentucky and Virginia.

 

One of the states that worked out great were PA and Illinois. About a month or so ago fuel in PA was $2.65. The ifta tax in PA is .64/gal, it was working out to $2.01 true fuel cost. It was cheaper than any neighboring states AND I was gaining .64 credit.

 

I don't care if I have to pay
out If ta ,all I care about is lowest cost of fuel. Fuel book is a good app for seeing what fuel is before tax. Ya have to pay the road tax either way and paying it at the pump can actually increase your true cost of fuel

 

Is your co driver running the solo board by himself?
