How do I get access to the back of the inside fuse panel on my Peterbilt 389. I an trying to add a fused wire. There are 2 screws on the bottom and 1 on the left side of the fuse panel, I tried to remove them but seem to be stripped. Are these the ones I need to remove to get access to the back?

This is the for sale section. I have asked the mods to move this thread to the garage area where posters find out how to service their own vehicles.

Are you talking about the exterior fuse panel in the engine bay? If so, it's divided into blocks. Each block has 4 locking tabs that must be pushed towards the block, once all the locks are released, that block can be lifted out of the fuse panel assembly.

With the amount of wires in there, it can be quite difficult to lift just one block, I find it typically easier to remove them all at once if I have to do anything behind the fuse panel.

Good luck getting it back together. It's a ##### trying to get it all seated inside there and to get the locking tabs locked again.

I meant the one in the cab behind the clutch pedal.
