Just throwing this out there... How about leave the tank where it is and plumb a second filler neck under the sleeper floor?

well I have two of these boat anchors. They are right on the engines, they are rock solid. Its everything else that goes wrong with these engines. I have had one in the shop 5 times in the past 2 months. same issue. Usually MHC keeps it 7-9 days at a time. Changes some parts and charges me out the nose. Runs 2-7 days maybe and back we go, same problem. The only thing the dealer can tell me is we are having a domino effect. Paccar will put you out of business!

I'm confused. First you say the engines are "rock solid "and then you say it's "everything else on these engines."
Are you saying it's the after treatment part?
If so, that's not a Paccar specific problem.

Well back in the shop again, phantom electrical issue strikes again.truck died 5 times in dallas,TX on the the highway.and 3 times yesterday. The guys at mhc-denver think it's a wire harness issue. Just waiting for the outcome

I had a Century once that was lemon with electrical issues. I swear they ended up replacing every harness on that truck. Never had the issues in any other one, but that one was like every month.
