I decided to move to FL because of the no state tax thing. I will live in tampa area, question is. What other proof of residency that I can provide so I can transfer my DL from out of state to Florida? I got my bank address changed, my phone bill is prepaid so idk how thats gonna work.
I can't think of any proof bank statement thats gonna show I am living to my friend's address. I am not payint rent coz I pretty much on the road all the time. I dont have car coz I sold it.
Do I need to retake all the endorsement I have in my DL or no? No Suspension of DL , Clean MVR.
Thank you!

Get your friend to write up a lease agreement. It's what I did when I moved to Texas awhile back and was renting a room. Same as you. Opened a bank account there but had no other bills. Cell phone was pre paid.

According to Google, Current law requires customers to present proof of legal name, lawful presence, social security number and two forms of residential address.
So basically you will need your current CDL, medical card, SSN card, and 2 forms of residential address. So your bank statement and a lease agreement with your friend should be all you need. -
I would suggest that you take your birth certificate and if you're a married woman, bring your marriage certificate as well. You shouldn't have to take any written tests but you'll probably have to take a vision test.

And check ahead to florida DMV to see what you will require in way of documents. Some states offer Enchanched drivers licenses now (Arkansas stated today, optional) which can allow you to go into Federal Installations, Bases and possibly include Canada Customs coming and going.
You will not be able to hold on to your old states CDL, that will be handed over to Fla and they will rubber stamp you a brand new one. -

Are you keeping your current driving job moving here? You'll love it,I know I do. It feels like being on a never-ending vacation.

Have your friend write a letter stating that you live there and then get it notarized. Otherwise the DMV will want to see utility bills or some kind of govt correspondence as proof of address, a bank or credit card statement won't cut it.
I applied for a replacement SS card a week before I renewed my license and the replacement card showing my address was good enough. I still had a notorized letter just in case.
Also, make sure you go toa DMV office that handles cdl as not all of them do. Im pretty sure you will have to redo your hazmat test and background check fingerprints. -
Florida is the easiest state to switch your cdl & domicile.
