I thought I made my point. In the NYC area it's relatively EZ to get local trucking jobs that pay 12-1400 a week, and 16-1700 if you go OTR. But some trucking companies like to squeeze the pay - and as you know you get what you pay for. To offer a mere 1100 for being away from your family is a ####ing joke, sorry my French, in a time where you can pick and choose your trucking job. Again, that's in my area, dunno about yours,
This gotta be the most stupid job offer this week!

Anything over $1,000.00 a week in my area is deemed "ok"...of course we don't pay $5.00 for a glass of milk at a café...or $17.00 for a pack of smokes like you city folk either.

My company advertises on Craigslist. They guarantee $1200/week average over a 12 month period for local / regional work. My first year with them, they delivered. My second year with them, I grossed $82K on my W2. Tell me again how Craigslist should be avoided when looking for driving jobs?Knucklehead, Lonesome and austinmike Thank this.
