Panhandlers at Truck Stops

I had my first...I was shocked....a Middle Eastern guy and a woman holding a baby at a PA turnpike rest area.

The baby made me cave and I gave all I had on me....10 bones...

They all seemed shady but how do ya know...

 

Almost 5 years and the thread continues.

 

Sadly it will never end.

 

I went to the dermtologist office yesterday for my 6 months look see. While sitting alone in the waiting room, a shabbly dressed fellow comes in and asked the receptionist if they took medicaid. She told him "No' and slid the frosted window closed.
He turns, looks at me and walks over and asked if i had a couple of bucks i could spare? About that time, the Nurse called for me. Told him "sorry" and went to the door.
Some people will ask for money anywhere.

 

IMO , professional beggars are nothing more than a sign of the times. Where I live I started seeing them in 2009.

I tell them "This state is run by democrats. There should not be any poverty here. I will look into it".

 

That's not horror. Wait until nightfall where the zombies rely on the dark to cover open wounds and running sores.

 

Yeah try to give them some canned food and they usually just walk away

 

We do not offer anything. We tell them that we have nothing for them while backing up to make the 3 yards room or so for a shoot if it comes to that. They recognize the clear language when I place a hand where the colt is. and take off.

 

They don't have a can opener...
