I'd like more info on that switch if you can provide it. We've got a older Spicer 1241p auxiliary that's 4 speed air shifted. The original switch was a knob that you changed out on the main stick but you can't find them anymore and I don't have one. If I could retrofit the switch in the pic to work I'd be set.

Have you looked into the DT planetary hubs? I drove a truck with them and they sure are nice. I don't know what they cost but I bet they aren't cheap.
The only down side is I don't think you can shift them while in motion. The truck I drove had the air switch mounted on the frame, when I asked the owner about it he said it was there the keep drivers from switching it while moving. -

Well you could very possibly forgo the auxiliary if you went with the DT hubs. The thing I like about them is they take all the extra stress of low gearing and move it right to where the wheels attach.
