My 1 1/2 legged GF was a secretary for some lawyer firm. Then she moved to Phoenix. Tried to get me to go with her but i don't like the heat.

I honestly don't know what I would do if I lost a limb. I know I wouldn't sit around but I think it would be extremely difficult to wrench. The replacement limb would need to be made out of wood too. Because if it were metal, I'd probably manage to weld it to something at some point lol.

    I crawled into bed,
And snuggled up to her good leg.

I was an Adaptive Alpine Ski Instructor for 18 yrs. It was amazing what a person can do when they set their mind to it. These people are too busy living to have Boundries. So the next time your feeling down, you really are well off. My friend Ravi.

A limb would be aggravating to me, but I'll make do. After all there are marines who got blown up and then reenlist and pass the required tests physically to go into combat as riflemen. again.

With Marines like that, who am I to whine if I lost a limb. Well, I a little bit because I rely on the hands to communciate and that's pretty important.

Double to Amen. And add a Hear hear!

We had a kid in elementry school born without a arm below his upper. We teased him like a bunch of bullies really badly in our ignorance.

One day he looked at us all in gym. Said loud enough to all of us, we are stupid bullies and should leave him alone. I stood up filled with hubris and said oh yea? You and what army?

He pointed at the high rope attached to the ceiling 30 feet up. The whole room went OOOOOOOOOOOO.

Up he went. down again. Threw the rope at my cowardly ### and said git up thar.

Instantly from that day forward he was one of our best and most beloved friends school wide. No one was allowed to give him a hard time without 50 of us pounding him.

Funny how that works now, what with me at 54. 'preciate the reminder. We were all jerks at one time.
