I'm just curious; where do you plan to relocate to after leaving California?

During training you'll be going to the east coast alot.Werner is one of the most low paying company there is and you don't get the miles. So many of your checks will be $0.00 just a pay stub. You should keep looking.

Well the reason i want to leave California that is cost so much to live in this state. I would not be able to buy a house that cost 600k.

That's a good reason. Move to a state with no personal income taxes; Las Vegas,NV or Houston,TX or Dallas/Ft.Worth,TX. Probably won't even have to change companies when you move.

    Nooooooo! (to the 0.00 bit)
.35 cpm to start OTR. The miles vary greatly and really depend on the relationship with your FM.
Some good running weeks you can bring home $900 after tax (VERY unusual). Take a home time, or spend the week sitting at shippers or receivers tho... expect to bring home less than $400. I've averaged a bit above $700, but I don't mind yet as I'm not hurting for $$$... I get that this is 'for the experience'. And that's what the Blue Screw is to me: a foot in the door and across the threshold.

All in all, they're most like any mega. You're a #, not a name. It's as good a place as any to prove you can do the job safely or, conta-positively, to get yourself weeded out of the industry.

Whatever floats your boat. There are far better starter companies, just have to look especially someone who has bills.Werners miles won't cut it.
