I was put in a different truck today and have never seen this on a truck I've driven before? It can flap up but doesn't have anything to keep in a level position... what's it called and what's it for?![]()

It's just a shiny option to make a rusted multi colored truck look better. The other use is for IFTA sticker

It looks like a fuel tank with a step sewe'd on to it and the flap is for extra support.. maybe.

It's for driver's that are height challenged, so they can comb their hair before entering the cab.
