Is it as bad as Gary, In truckstops? I know that when I stop for fuel there, the little Ruger is at max convenience for me. Wouldn't even consider doing anything more than a 30min break there

Brain fart there, forgot you were running a KW. That was a Freightliner. Didn't mean to downgrade your rig, haha

Well I met the Red Demon on I22/78 in Mississippi today. He was hammer down west bound.

Funny thing he had new door placards already. I couldn't tell for sure but I think it said : Blairs Sarcoxie Grocery Express

Well I did see a white volvo today with IL plates and a sign on the doors proclaiming an average $1,500 a week. Do they teach russian in new zealand schools?

I haven't been to Gary, but can say this. The one in West Memphis is a massive upgrade, if that helps.

Are you guys talking about that pilot on 285 around atlanta? I didn't even realize they opened it back up. Haven't stopped in there in almost 20 years. It's always been a craphole. The QT on 675 is decent if you gotta stop on the loop.

This is the one on exit 51 Bouldercrest Rd, on the east side. There was another one on the NW side, exit 18 I think? Looked a little nicer, relatively speaking. Stopped for fuel once at the Bouldercrest location and that was the first and last visit for me. It's a very tiny lot for the location, and completely open with no fence or security. Let's just say there are many entrepreneurs roaming the lot at all hours.

I never went into the other one before it closed. Come to think of it, there are only a few PFJ locations I'll actually visit on purpose. The ones with Moe's inside. Or Oak Grove KY because parking. Oak Grove is like they screwed up and opened a location that is appealing to drivers.

A friend convinced me to give the Gary Petro another try after its remodel and I must say, it is a night and day difference. But you won't catch me at the TA...

that other one in Atlanta was at 16 on south Atlanta Rd. and it was packed 24/7 and to come out you had to make a left across 4 lanes of traffic, poor location

Yeah my favorite Pilots all have entrances/exits without the assist of a red light across a really busy 4 lane highway. Murfreesboro, TN is alays a lot of fun especially in the morning and afternoon rush. You would think this traffic issue would make it an unpopular Pilot to stop at but you would be wrong. The drivers love it so much they normally line up 2 and 3 deep before the fuel islands.
