    Thxs 98, well the date is Jan. 9th. But a non-trucking company is willing too pay for a refresher course. I do have my class A license but no T/T experience. I got my A license in 2000. Will a refreshers course be enough? Basically regional / dedicated route. 3-5 days out. 2017 Volvo I-shift. Don't knw what too do. Thxs

    I doubt that a refresher course would work for any company, based on the fact that you've never driven. Pretty much every starter company is going to put you through a training program.

    But....having your CDL is a huge plus, one less thing you'll need to worry about :)

    Oh, I misread your post, sorry. I guess I'll have to claim ignorance on that question. I don't know how that would work with trucking companies, like if they would be okay with that. But if someone is offering to pay for it, can't hurt to have it.
