Thanks. Honestly, other than that, I don't really have much more to say on this issue. I'm tired of our politicians selling out our country. One of the senators that "represents" my state has basically called us a bunch of racist hicks because we didn't want the shamnesty plan he was advocating (thanks a bunch, Lindsey Graham!).

Just have to wait and see what happens with Congress.

You think it will be any different with McCain? He still is an "unashamed NAFTA supporter" per his own words.

Some of the people on this thread are right ... the cheaper prices will prevail. Never underestimate the average American to engage in selfish actions which in turn work against their own best interests.

"I want what's cheap!" Cool, so does your employer. Your job now belongs to Jorge. You're fired.

I have never claimed otherwise. A vote for McCain is to continue the Bush policies. One must make the decision on this.

If you re-read my post, I did not suggest I had and answer and especially not government protection of the trucking industry.

Companines are hiring cheap labor all over this country and the American people are not seeing lower prices, anywhere.

The companies are just beefing up their bank accounts from the cheap labor and still charging us full price +.

I just simply stated my opinion about Bush.

    Haven't we outlawed dictatorship yet?
In a referendum here they asked "Should English be the official language?" The resounding answer, 'SI!" I do not want the crazy Meskins up here in their Tractor trailers. I lived in Yuma and NM for years and have been in Mexico. Some of the craziest things I have ever seen, passing in the turn lanes at 70 MPH and the worst tires I have ever seen.
