I'm looking at a small company propane delivery position in Texas. Anyone here have a driver job like this and what do they pay you? (And where are you located?) Thanks, I would like to know if this compnay is competitive.

A brother in law of mine used to drive a propane truck. He made 12+ per hour in '86. His major complaint was being on call. Customers would forget they hadn't had the tank filled in 4 months, and decide they were out of propane at 7:30 on a Sunday evening in a snowstorm. He also complained about tank placement. Couldn't get anywhere close to the tank without driving on grass he was afraid of tearing up or getting stuck in.
Rusty Trawler Thanks this. -
South Georgia? That sounds reasonable.
