Truck plows into 20ish vehicles

I'm waiting for the supertruckers to come in and claim they used to do 100+, logbooks be ######, because that load HAD to be across the country the same day....

Gravity! Mans worst enemy on the down slope when loaded and not paying close attention to the speed-o-meter. I recall I -17 can be pretty darn steep coming down out of Flagstaff.

I wonder what that trucker will say when having to explain to "man" how all them cars got in his way!

 

I passed 6 bull haulers on 90 today in Wyoming as I was heading to Colorado Springs. I think they were heading for Billings...

Well i sat in it for over 4 hours. Then the ######## started. They had the Red Cross out there with water and trying to help. Earlier in the day as motorcyclist was killed in New River just south of this mess, also when i came out of Flagstaff there was an SUV roll over and they shut down the for the helicopter. Bad day on 17

 

Weekends (especially Sundays) are jammed with cars on that SB stretch year 'round, but especially this time of year when many fall travelers want to get up there before winter and to see the fall colors as leaves change. Everybody checks out of their hotels Sunday morning and hauls butt back to PHX creating a high-speed traffic jam where somebody screws up, every time, then Billy big-rigger discovers stopped traffic around the curve, in the middle of the desert and says "WTF!?"

This same phenomenon happens like clockwork in many regions, all across the US, especially during prime seasonal times.
