Yes he is, and has very excellent inventory, all kinds of different brand radios and antennas and every kind of cb accessory you could need or want. I thought his prices were very reasonable as well, next time I stop in there I will probably buy a radio from him, not sure which one but maybe the Stryker 955 or the President.

Ok so I've decided either a Wilson 5ft silver fiber glass antenna if I find one only found 4 ft or the 5 foot fire stick they seem to be fair priced and do what I need them to do along with a thinker more expensive coax. I feel like that should fit my needs and I'll update when that gets all together

the firestick is a good inexpensive antennae that you don't need to tune. you should be able to get all that you need for under $100... or just over that

just remember that the 5' will be a lot of antennae waving in the wind/ice/snow, so you want a sturdy base. they sell 2 kinds....one with 2 bolts and one with 4 bolts holding the base to whatever it is you're attaching it too, get the 4 bolt

From what I've seen at the ts is the single bolt/shaft and the 2 bolt mounting bracket I was thinking 2 bolt over the shaft but if I were to find the 4 bolt I'd opt for that like you said

plus,,,,if you go with the 4 bolt base now, when you upgrade to a bigger antennae in the future (assuming you want one) you wont have to buy another base

find hunt down the stainless steel mirror mount. the aluminum Wilson mount sold at trk. stops is poor quality... real cb shops sell the stainless steel mirror mounts... I don't use one and haven't seen the 4 bolt mount mentioned but if you can find the 4 buy that one its definitely going to be a lot more stable...

The wilson 2 bolt mounts are definitely lighter duty then some of the others. Package states not recommended for antennas over 5ft.

I use the wilson 4 bolt antenna mount with the black gumdrop on it, it seems to work pretty good , have had it for a year now so its been through one winter and no visible sign of corrosion.
