Student loans

I know a lady who did that once. She got her CDL, and deliberately avoided paying the loan back. She claims she couldn't afford to pay it back just yet. She made lots of money under the table for about a year, then got her affairs in order in one fell swoop. She basically did the wrong thing then to do the right thing later. She doesn't owe anyone now.

A bit unorthodox way of handling your business but I guess it worked for her.

 

Most of the companies who offer CDL Training (TRANSTECH INC., Newton, NC {for example}) WILL NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY if you quit or even if they let you go. They will cite a PER HOUR CHARGE for SERVICES already extended to you giving them the legal right to keep your money.

 

That just reminded me that I used to know a guy, Brazilian... he had a green card in America. Got his CDL with a mega, financed his truck after 6 months and leased it to company... made tons of money, all cash... never reported his trucking business to IRS... did that for 8 yrs and then went back to Brasil to retire with all the properties and investments he got there...
I'm not suggesting anyone to do the same though...

Now.. I know someone who got her CDL with another mega... had 3 minor accidents in one month and they fired her... She said she would never pay them anything... Not sure what happened. She did work for an O/O for 2 yrs, driving a pos after that... But last time I saw her, she was driving a tanker for a good company...
