Cvsa stickers are put in windshield usually in passenger side to indicate a level one was passed withdrawing colours. It's a good thing

 

Ya it's a good thing. You hope you get one after a level 1 inspection

 

If you notice they cut corners of of them sometimes. By what corner is gone some how tells them what quarter or month maybe the inspection was done.

 

would cutting all 4 corners off confuse them then! just sayin. LOL

 

Yea you are supposed to get one if you pass a level 1 inspection. The program is administered through the CVSA. It is valid for 3 months. It does not rule out future inspections but it does send a signal to inspectors from a distance that you have been recently inspected and were clean so they might have bigger-fish-to-fry and you may get a pass. If they oberserve something obvious like an improperly secured load all bets are off.
