its a firestik not a preset Francis !!!

 

No such thing as preset antenna. Sometimes you get lucky

 

you cannot adjust a Francis people and shops throw 18 ft. of coax on them and usually get the desired results. cutting one is not often done... their is no tunable top like most all fiberglass antennas....

 

No guarantee it will be resonant. Depends on the vehicle. Can be lengthened or shortened if necessary. Would have to add metal to the bottom to lengthen or trim up top to shorten

 

doesn't matter really Its about the cheapest antenna out here ya get what ya get..

 

Its junk..Never had one and ill never buy one..Seen a few break and one broke just cause it was cold..To flimsey and as you both mentioned,not tuneable as per say..

 

yep it's cheap fiberglass and once you cut one it's never the same
