The all time winner was the girl that passed me doing about 78 with her legs folded under her indian style. That's a truck driving momma right there, brakes, don't need no stinking brakes.

 

But I thought you said in the old days when it was due Monday, to get it there Monday.

 

Yes like in the orientations when they would tell you not to use the QC while driving, but you would have a rolling 30 minute conversation with your DM about the next load.
But of course there had to be a few mega drivers that can't walk and chew gum at the same time that screwed that up for everyone as well.

 

Been there done that. Its amazing the person on the other end of the qc conversation knew what i was trying to say. Me and typing while driving give very adverse effects to the outcome.

I usually had a chuckle when I got stopped and reread what I said.

Thank god I don't have to do that nonsense anymore. I would much rather talk on the phone.

You are right and it's the same for the speed some drivers just can't handle a fast truck that's why we have so many laws.
