In all seriousness Swift has had a few sexual harassment lawsuits from the male/female trainer issue. They no longer allow it unless the trainee is female and doesn't want to wait for a female trainer.

Just take whatever mentor you get, and get solo.
After that you can worry about teaming with a female if you wish.

But a male requesting to be with a female trainer is a red flag in most books.

Erm, You are going to get a trainer, most likely a male one.

Remember Female - Males in a small space creates unnecessary tension.

Ive had both, and they were very good. And wife was my trainee as married so.. no issue there. Other than failing to listen to me sometimes.

Ive said this before and I'll say it again. If you want a Frau, make sure you behave. =) AFTER your male trainer finishes with you.

Ok look. It is my right to request a female mentor and I'm willing to wait until one becomes available. I just don't get along well in small spaces with other guys for long periods of time. It just doesn't work for me. Tensions will most likely flare sooner or later and arguments will break out when I want to do something my way, but he wants me to do it another way and I just want to avoid that and I feel the best way to do that is to have a female mentor. I know the same things happen with female mentors at times, but at least I know I will have a higher chance of doing things my way with a female mentor than with a male mentor.

That reminded me of last year I was at the Flying Hook just south of Minneapolis
I just showered and got settled in front row for Monday Night Football
Big girl sits down next to me
First the scent from the undercarriage hit me as she backed in
Then the scent from her armpits hit as she settled in
I lasted 30 seconds before I headed back to the truck and listened to the game on Sirius

Most all trainers will send you home if they see you know so much and have to do it your way.
I suggest getting a service animal first and then you can take it along during your training
