Radio doesn't use much. You could go all night no problem. Maybe even a whole weekend.
BUMBACLADWAR, Boattlebot, zigstar and 2 others Thank this. -
I go all night, starts right up in the morning.
zigstar Thanks this. -
No moving parts, very little current draw

I run my satalite radio all night with the key in the aux position to power the in dash radio. Just make sure you shut your lights off, those will drain your batteries way faster than the radio.
zigstar Thanks this. -
Are you idling your truck just to listen to the radio? You can't turn-key to accessory position?
-
Of course not. Turned key to left. Just didn't know how much power it takes.

The radio on Gillian's Island was only suppose to last for the three hour tour but lasted the whole run of the series. So you are safe.
dunchues, TGUNKEL, Bob Dobalina and 8 others Thank this. -
Ohhh hahaha! I knew that

But yea, if your batteries are good the radio can go all night. Make sure nothing else extra is drawing from the battery though, because if you fall asleep you might wake up unlucky
zigstar Thanks this. -
Not true, in one of the episodes the professor had to recharge the batteries somehow. Still pretty good life out of them.
