Measure on a LEVEL shop floor the axle end stops on all 6 locations (assuming you have a traditional chassis). Also all tires should be the same air pres. and brand with their associated tire-mates. According to my spec, you are allowed about a 1/2" lean from the factory (depending on mfg). This would be the only other true way of knowing if it's the drivetrain axles to chassis leaning, or the cab to chassis. I think there were some other good ideas posted on here of what it might be and the direction of how to truly diagnose where the lean is coming from.

Another thing you can check is your turning linkage on your steering gear. See if some things shifted if it was indeed involved with an accident. Maybe the axles aren't clamped correctly on the big U-bolts. Something along those lines can be causing your "plastic" noise.

Driveline torque twists the whole thing to the passenger side, plus heavy 1-box, plus heavy APU, plus sitting in the right lane for years with road crown tilting to the right, plus all left turns being faster and longer than right turns. My hips are titled from sitting like that for 4 years now, when I stand up and relax I'm leaning to the left
