    Almost had a job lined up but they needed a friend as a reference and I got none :(. I've never worked before so co-worker's are out of the question. Is there anything I can do?

    What about a relative who DOESN'T have the same last name as you? As long as they don't mention or hint at your relation it might work.

    How about your neighbor maybe your parents friend.Two of my neighbor's I've always used for a refference only they didn't know it,lol.Then my dads close friend is my 3 rd refference.
