The pay depends on experience and how well you do on your road test. i have just over a year of experience and im getting 36 cents a mile, which isn't great, but they have a lot of miles. i spoke with a driver when i was in orientation and he had ran 3800 miles that week. they have the miles if you want to run. as far as benefits they do offer a full range of benefits.
My sweet express experience.

Just got approved to come in for upgrade. Praying all works out...looking at my long term company. I live only an hour away from Grand Rapids. Heard good things. Applied a year ago and turned it down and then did my thing. Applied again back in the summer and had to have some stuff clear up and applied a few weeks ago...they say 3rd time a charm.
Davebox Thanks this. -
I am really considering applying since I live 30 minutes from their terminal. Do they usually keep drivers out for about two weeks and if so, what kind of home time would you normally get?

Been busy, but time for another update. after i got unloaded in kansas city, i went to St joseph, missouri and picked up a load of car batteries headed back to laredo. will be delivering this load in the am then see where i go from here. im still really enjoying this company. they treat me great, my first check is gonna be a little over 500.00. they are a good company to drive for. my dispatcher asked me this morning if i wanted to take a reset or not and i told him i wanted to keep running, but they give you the option. they don't try to force us to do something we don't want to do. if we don't feel safe driving due to weather, etc they want us to pull off and wait till its safe to drive again. us meaning the drivers at this company. i would recommend them so far.
Knucklehead, dngrous_dime, harpole83 and 2 others Thank this. -
Bosnian people are good to work for. i met a lot of them thru the years. some are rude, some are crazy and some are very nice. but when you need help all of them will be there.
I hope it will work for you. good luck and keep us posted .Knucklehead Thanks this. -
Quick update, i delivered in laredo this morning, picked up a load of John deere equipment and headed to Mississippi . total miles for the week will be 2800 i deliver this load on Monday.

Miles are ok, but your cpm is low. did they give you any info on a raise?

I apologize for the delay in updates, I've been busy lately. After I delivered in mississippi I picked up a load and dropped it at the yard, then grabbed a load out of Michigan and took it to Atlanta, then reloaded out of Atlanta and took it back to the yard in Michigan, then grabbed a load out of Grand Rapids and delivered in Jackson, Tennessee. I am still very happy here I'm being treated very well and I'm getting plenty of miles.

I am sitting here in Orientation now, road test done, just waiting to do the physical and drug screen.

Update......orientation was done Wednesday and I was assigned a 2007 Volvo with over 1 mil miles. Miles are low right now with the holidays coming up. After orientation I was sent to Minnesota and from there back to Michigan, got a phone call last night that a load needed to be repowered, and now I am headed to Kearny, NJ . Will keep you updated on my adventures as well.
Lonesome and Crusader66 Thank this.
