I'm thinking of making the leap from A doubles to LCV as an owner / operator. I am experienced in both. My question: What are you LCV haulers getting paid by the mile ? Company and Owner / Operator. I'm not so much looking for what company pays what, just what the pay is per region. I'm just curious.
IE - In Atlantic Canada, an O/O hauling LCV, with one particular company, is getting $1.80 / mile - fuel cap varies.
Also, what are drivers and O/O's getting paid for the extra's ? IE - building a train, and taking it apart ?
Again, just curious. Thanks.

I was at TST Porter ( TST Overland ), my contract said 17 cents more for turnpikes. But we never did them, and for that price I wouldn't.

Yes Sask still does, but the third one has to be an empty. Usually see a Co-op super B-train pulling a 53' refer.

Indeed. I get 46 cpm plus add pays for B-trains outside the 160km radius and I'm not even at top rate.

Turnpikers in the US. Many years now. Quebec has been doing it for many years now as well. All of the TCH in NB from the Que border to the NS border is an LCV route. From the NB / NS border to Dartmouth, NS is now an LCV route. Tks for the replies. I think a company driver ( Armour, Midland, etc ) in NB and NS make something like 0.51 cents / mile LCV rate.
