I see drivers all around the country concerned about their pay , and this autonomous truck deal , and also the ELD , SPEED MANDATES ,you get what I'm saying .There is a definite reason for concern .
If you're a company driver , and have some experience under your belt you need to be demanding no less than 45 - 50 a mile plus by now . To my owner ops ,or what ever you call yourself you should be atleast at 2 plus a mile on all miles . As for this auto truck deal it will still have to have a driver in the truck , and we should demand top dollar to be inside of the auto truck . I just saying let's stick together , and know our worth .
Can we stand together ?????

A&R Logistics used to drive trucks similar to that one. Think they've scaled back now though.

I totally agree. I'm not sure if drivers are asleep, or they just don't care, but I don't understand them accepting .32, .35, .40cpm... Owner ops same thing. Brokers tell me all the time what idiots are willing to take a load for, and its sickening.
